Portraits

Senior sessions have always been some of my favorite sessions to photograph. There is something special about capturing someone right at that point between who they have been and who they are becoming. I want the photos to feel like them, not like a collection of stiff poses or something copied from everyone else. We take our time, move around, try different ideas and create images that show their personality, interests and style.

I also love photographing homecoming and prom. Everyone has put so much thought into the dress, the suit, the hair and all the little details, and those moments deserve more than a few quick phone pictures in the front yard. These are the photographs families will pull out years from now. My goal is to make the experience relaxed and fun while creating images that feel polished, natural and worthy of the occasion.
